Art is the Best Medicine

In 2019, Annie curated an exhibition of art by comedians to raise money for Mental Health UK. 'Art is the Best Medicine' took place at contemporary London Gallery, Fiumano Clase, and received widespread coverage in publications such as The Times, Financial Times, iNews, and it was featured on the front page of The Guardian Guide.
The exhibition featured artwork by fellow comics – including Harry Hill, Joe Lycett, Katy Wix, Jessica Hynes, Tim Key, Vic Reeves, Holly Burn, and many more.
During lockdown, Annie was asked to host Art Pass Live, a virtual event for Art Fund, where she chaired a discussion on 'Art and Humour' with a panel made up of David Shrigley, Reuben Dangoor, Emma Stirling-Middleton and Simon Minty.

Annie has worked closely with The National Gallery, writing and presenting a comedy tour of the collection for NG's members in 2024, and performing at their members' stand-up comedy night in 2025.
